Married: August 20, 1947 in Madelia, Minnesota.
Children: Two boys and six girls (one boy, Davie, is deceased)
Where have you lived? All over Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska,
Florida, Colorado and Jamaica.
Occupation: Bob is a minister of the Church of Christ. He has
always had to work on the side to support his family, including
juvenile probation officer in Lincoln, Nebraska, police officer in
West Concord and Lake Crystal, Minnesota, bus driver and
various other jobs.
Favorite TV Shows: Law and Order, Heat of the Night, Texas
Ranger, Keeping Up Appearances (June), Last of the Summer
Wine (June)
Favorite Foods: Pizza, Runza

Hobbies: June enjoys compiling family histories, making quilts,
entertaining seniors with singing, playing autoharp, accordion
and piano. She enjoys sending and receiving cards and letters.
She also likes painting, collecting teapots and dolls, and making
lefse. Bob loves his preaching work. He likes to hunt and fish
and avidly watches football and baseball. He enjoys working with
people and meeting strangers (who don't remain strangers for
long.) He has taken up gardening in his later years which he
enjoys as well.
Favorite Things to Do as a Couple: Rummage sales, Barbershop
Quartet programs
Travels: Bob and June have been to Jamaica, Mexico, Canada
and England.
Church Activities: June plays the organ for church, and in the past
taught Sunday school and ladies classes for many years. Bob
gives communion talks, gives prayers, leads songs, gives
sermons and Bible studies when asked.
Exciting moments in your lives: June's favorite was seeing the
Queen of England in person and their recent trip to Hawaii with
Rod and Amy. Bob enjoyed meeting George Foreman in Houston.
