How she met the Blanshans:  Evelyn and her twin Juan had been
fostered with the Ramos family since the age of 2.  When she and
Juan were 10, the family moved to Orlando.  She and Juan were
about 13 when they began attending the Harrell Road Church of
Christ, thanks to the church bus driven through the Ramos'
neighborhood by the Spencer family.  They attended for only a year,
but Evelyn always kept in contact with Kristy Galarza.  When Bob
Blanshan came to the Harrell Road church, he went calling on kids
who had attended church to see if they wanted to go to Bible camp.
Evelyn went and Bob baptised her that year.
Later Life:  After graduating from Colonial H.S. in Orlando,
Evelyn went to Long Branch, New Jersey to meet her biological
family.  She attended Bible college in Loveland, Colorado,
dropped out, but stayed in Colorado for a few years working at
Little Caesar's Pizza for 6 years and then at St. Joseph's
hospital in Denver where Jim Parks had gotten her an
interview.  She moved back to Orlando in 1994 and got a job at
Florida Hospital and has been there 12 years now.
